About the Role
You will deliver high‑quality Science lessons to students of all abilities, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for the subject. You will be part of a supportive team aiming to raise aspirations, ensure all students achieve their potential, and contribute to the overall improvement of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging, well‑structured Science lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4 (or relevant age ranges).
- Inspire students through creative, inclusive pedagogy; adapt lessons to meet varied learning needs.
- Assess, track, and monitor student progress; provide feedback and interventions where required.
- Contribute to maintaining high expectations for academic achievement, behaviour, and student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, resource sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in whole‑school initiatives, attend staff meetings, and contribute positively to school culture.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Science degree.
- Strong classroom practitioner with ability to engage, motivate, and stretch learners.
- Passion for raising aspirations and supporting students to achieve their best.

- Excellent communication, organisational skills, and willingness to collaborate.
