We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated Pharmacy Technician who wants to work in our clinical trials team delivering a range of trials including ATMPs, whilst developing their specialist clinical trials skills and knowledge.
Main duties of the job
This newly established post offers an individual the opportunity to support our expanding and well-established Clinical Trials team based at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. You will work with our fantastic team helping to deliver cutting edge clinical trials to Cancer patients.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Level 3 Diploma in Principles and practice for pharmacy technicians or equivalent
2. Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
3. Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification
4. ILM Level 3 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent
5. Quality Improvement training
6. Practice Supervisor
7. HR training

8. Specialist technical / Management modules or equivalent experience in Aseptic preparation
Experience
Essential criteria
9. Proven experience of good performance in previous posts
10. Previous significant experience of working in clinical trials
11. Demonstrable experience of providing pharmacy professional training, and supporting training
12. Experience with undertaking appraisals, devising PDPs, setting SMART objectives and creating action plan
13. Experience of collecting, manipulating and presenting data in appropriate format using Microsoft Office Word and Excel

14. Experience with management of staff including experience of conducting disciplinary meetings and chairing meetings
15. Previous experience of working in Aseptics
