As a Primary TA, this role is ideal for those who are passionate about helping young learners succeed in both their academic and personal development. Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant: Assist with lesson preparation and support teachers during lessons. Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils to reinforce learning. Support positive behaviour management in line with school policies. Help prepare and organise learning materials. Monitor and report on pupil progress and well-being. Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting is desirable. A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps.
