Responsibilities
* Own all end‑to‑end technical aspects of Salesforce programs, including data migration, data quality, system integrations, third‑party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development.
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise.
* Drive adoption of emerging technologies to deliver increased business value.
* Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly, using creative and prescriptive thinking.
* Identify and proactively manage risks, ensuring issues are resolved completely.
* Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions to complex challenges with clients and partners.
* Review and refine project direction, approach, and key deliverables to keep programs on track and maintainable.
* Partner with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to design technology solutions that meet business needs.
* Lead strategic initiatives to grow the practice and contribute to the community’s knowledge base.
* Shape program vision and advise on enabling technologies, including the Salesforce Platform.
* Lead technical architecture for enterprise‑level engagements.
* Participate in pre‑sales activities such as discovery sessions, technical deep dives, and proof‑of‑concept development.
* Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
* Travel to client sites as required.
Qualifications
* Certified Application Architect and System Architect.
* Extensive work experience in enterprise architecture with proficiency in the Salesforce platform.
* Strong application design skills combined with strong data, integration, and security architecture skills.
* Strong presentation skills. Able to effectively present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiences.
* Detail‑oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience.
* A great listener with the ability to communicate with people in diverse roles.
* Proven ability to analyse, design, and optimise business processes via technology and integration.
* Resourceful and innovative thinker who can work through and solve problems.
* Ability to convey and convince customers of best practices at various levels within a large organization.
* Application design and development background.
* In‑depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce platform.
* Strong technical foundation: advanced structured programming (APEX, Force.com, .NET, Java), relational database concepts and structures, structured system analysis and design methods, etc.
* Demonstrates successful implementation of Batch Apex and/or Schedule Apex development.
* Understands web services and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an enterprise environment and interact with Salesforce.
* Certified Salesforce Technical Architect.
* Experience in the Salesforce Automotive Domain.
