Who is the client?
Our client is a well‑established Managed Service Provider supporting organisations across a range of sectors. They are known for delivering high‑quality, structured IT solutions and maintaining strong, long‑term client relationships. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their project delivery function and are looking for a Project Engineer to support both project work and high‑level technical escalations.
What will you be doing?
As a Project Engineer, you’ll take ownership of delivering infrastructure and cloud projects across multiple client environments, ensuring solutions are implemented effectively and to a high standard.
* Work across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and on‑prem infrastructure, handling tasks such as tenant configuration, migrations, endpoint deployments, and security improvements.
* Alongside project delivery, support the service desk by acting as an escalation point for complex issues when required, troubleshooting non‑standard problems across M365, networking, and server environments, and ensuring issues are properly resolved and documented.
* Collaborate closely with other engineers, contribute to documentation and process improvements, and help maintain high service standards across all client environments.
What will you need?
* Minimum 3 years’ experience within an MSP environment
* Experience with Entra‑ID, Conditional Access, and identity management
* Hands‑on experience with Intune (device management, policies, deployments)
* Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls)
* Experience delivering technical projects or migrations
* Proven troubleshooting ability across complex environments
What would be desirable?
* Experience with Azure and hybrid environments
* Exposure to tools such as Halo PSA, Ninja RMM, or IT Glue
* Knowledge of Microsoft Defender and endpoint security
* Experience with UniFi, SonicWall, or similar networking technologies
* Previous experience supporting regulated environments
