The Opportunity

We’re looking for Resourcing Advisors to join our high-performing recruitment team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of our fastest-growing areas, where innovation, sustainability and digital transformation are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll work on roles that directly contribute to maintaining and improving over 30,000km of UK highways and supporting the transition to a greener future.

You’ll be empowered to bring fresh ideas, influence hiring strategies, and make a tangible impact on how we attract top talent in a highly competitive market.

The Role

As a Resourcing Advisor, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, managing a diverse portfolio of roles across multiple disciplines and locations.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll:

* Partner closely with hiring managers to truly understand their hiring needs and shape effective recruitment strategies
* Deliver a seamless, high-quality candidate experience from first contact to offer
* Work closely with senior resourcing colleagues to support strategic hiring activity, sharing insight and helping drive consistent best practice
* Lead vacancy briefings, define innovative attraction and selection approaches, and act as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process
* Proactively source and headhunt talent using platforms such as LinkedIn and job boards
* Plan and deliver high-volume recruitment campaigns and targeted hiring initiatives
* Ensure recruitment data and insights are recorded and updated
* Collaborate with marketing, onboarding teams, and external suppliers to build strong talent pipelines
* Provide guidance on recruitment best practice, policy and market trends
* Support business-critical projects such as mobilisations, redeployments, and large-scale recruitment drives
* Ensure all compliance requirements (e.g. right to work, qualifications) are met efficiently

You’ll play a key role in continuously improving how we recruit, helping us stay ahead in a competitive talent market.

About You

We’re looking for a proactive, consultative recruiter who thrives in a fast-moving environment and loves building strong relationships.

You’ll bring:

* Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment, either in-house, RPO or agency
* A track record of successfully delivering against hiring targets and improving key metrics like time-to-fill
* Strong sourcing and headhunting skills, with confidence using CV databases and recruitment tools
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and work at pace without compromising quality
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels
* A strong customer focus, ensuring both hiring managers and candidates receive a great experience
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Knowledge of UK recruitment practices and employment legislation

Bonus if you have:

* Experience running assessment centres or recruitment campaigns
* Exposure to reducing agency reliance and building direct sourcing strategies

Most importantly, you’ll be collaborative, resilient, and passionate about finding great talent.

What We Can Offer You

When you join Amey, you’re joining a business that genuinely invests in its people.

Here’s what you can expect:

* Competitive Salary with regular reviews
* Funded CIPD qualifications and continuous learning opportunities
* Access to industry-leading development programmes, including leadership and diversity initiatives
* Flexible benefits package tailored to you (including additional leave options, cycle-to-work and more)
* 24 days holiday + bank holidays, with the option to buy more
* 2 paid volunteering days each year to give back to your community
* Access to discounts, wellbeing support and lifestyle benefits

Your Career at Amey Consulting
