Senior Account Excutive/ Director
As a Senior Account Executive / Director, you will drive sustainable business growth through new business acquisition and strategic account management. You will deliver tailored insurance solutions, build long-term client relationships, and ensure excellent retention through proactive engagement and market insight.
Working collaboratively with Broking Operations and internal teams, you will help deliver a seamless end-to-end client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
Act as a trusted advisor, developing strong, consultative relationships.
Understand clients' risk profiles and deliver tailored solutions.
Proactively identify value-add opportunities to drive retention.
New Business Development
Generate and convert new business through networking, referrals, and market engagement.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
Deliver persuasive presentations and meet growth targets.
Renewals & Compliance
Lead renewal negotiations and secure competitive terms.
Ensure full regulatory compliance (FCA / Consumer Duty).
Maintain accurate and audit-ready records.
Collaboration & Market Engagement
Mentor colleagues and support a high-performance culture.
Build strong insurer and industry relationships.
Stay informed on market and regulatory developments.
Candidate Profile
Essential
Proven commercial insurance Account Executive experience.
Strong track record in new business development.
Knowledge of insurance markets and underwriting.
Experience managing and growing client portfolios.
Understanding of FCA requirements.
CII / ACII qualified (or working towards).
Desirable
Experience with Acturis or similar systems.
