Payroll & Accounts Assistant Location: Blantyre, Glasgow Hours: 25–30 per week (flexible days/hours) Rate: £14.50 per hour Contract: 3-Months Brightwork are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established business with operations across the UK, in the recruitment of a Payroll & Accounts Assistant for a part-time, fixed-term opportunity based in Blantyre. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised individual to support a busy finance function, with a particular focus on payroll, invoicing, and general accounts administration. Key Responsibilities: Processing payroll and pensions accurately using Sage Payroll Maintaining spreadsheets for absences, holidays, and expenses Assisting with invoicing using Xero and customer portals (training provided) Supporting credit control and sales ledger functions Preparing PO requests and expense journals Providing administrative support to the wider accounts team Liaising with internal staff and external stakeholders to resolve queries Ensuring all processes are compliant with internal policies and procedures Requirements: Proven experience using Sage Payroll (essential) Proficiency in Excel and other standard IT packages Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Self-motivated, proactive, and professional attitude Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment What’s on Offer: £14.50 per hour 25–30 hours per week (flexible schedule available) Supportive and friendly office environment Please note that applicants must be able to commit to the full duration of the 3-month contract.
