Duty Manager – Leisure Centre Salary: £28,000 per annum We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Duty Manager to join a busy leisure centre in Waltham Abbey/ Epping area The Role As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the facility, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for members and staff. You will take responsibility for supervising staff, overseeing health & safety, and delivering excellent customer service at all times. Key Responsibilities Supervision of daily centre operations, ensuring smooth service delivery. Leading, motivating, and supporting staff during shifts. Maintaining the highest standards of health & safety across the site. Delivering outstanding customer service and handling queries effectively. Assisting with staff training, scheduling, and operational planning. Requirements NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) – essential. Proven supervisory or duty management experience within a leisure or fitness environment. Strong leadership and communication skills.
