Responsibilities of a Commercial Account Handler
1. Placing insurance programmes for a major client portfolio, which is growing significantly and consistently.
2. Servicing and administering this portfolio, including:
* Ensuring the adequacy and appropriateness of cover.
* Checking the accuracy of policy documentation.
* Resolving client enquiries in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
* Providing effective day-to-day management of the client relationship.
1. Undertaking renewal broking exercises, including:
* Negotiating with insurers.
* Liaising with the Account Executive or Account Director.
2. Developing and maintaining strong client and insurer relationships.
3. Providing technical expertise across a broad range of commercial insurance business.
4. Occasional client visits in support of the Account Executive or Account Director.
A successful Commercial Account Handler will have:
* Good all-round commercial insurance experience.
* A desire to develop strong client and insurer relationships.
* The ability to support colleagues in a close team environment.
