Key Responsibilities As Production Manager, you will oversee the full production function, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. Key responsibilities include: Managing day-to-day production activities to ensure output, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently achieved. Leading, coaching, and developing production teams while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Driving lean manufacturing initiatives, focusing on waste reduction, process optimisation, and cost efficiency. Managing production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines. Monitoring KPIs and operational performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards and promoting a strong safety culture across the site. Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance. Managing production budgets, resources, and staffing levels to maximise efficiency. Maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to resolve production challenges. Supporting new product introductions and ensuring seamless integration into manufacturing processes. Championing continuous improvement projects and encouraging innovation across the production function. Providing regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior management. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment. Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire teams. A demonstrated track record of improving productivity, quality, and operational performance. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies. The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. What's on Offer?
