Our major Insurance Client is seeking an experienced and driven People Manager to lead a growing team within a very successful Business Unit.
Our Client offers and embraces a hybrid working model with a collaborative working environment in the office 2 days per week allowing 3 days per week to be spent working on a remote basis.
As Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading your teams to deliver service excellence.
2. Managing and monitoring operational performance against SLA's.
3. Make decisions on complex, tactical and operational issues.
4. Budget creation for the department; manage costs, working within financial objectives for the department.
5. Supporting and instigating continual process and operational improvement.
6. Working with the Senior Management Team on all aspects your Client's activities and managing business risks.
7. Maintaining effective working relationships, internally and externally.
8. Work closely with the Sales and Service teams in all locations to satisfy specific client requirements.
9. Direct all people related matters including recruiting, performance management, training, compensation, talent mapping, succession planning.
10. Maintain individual performance and development plans for direct reports with effective mentoring and performance feedback.
To be successful as an Operations Manager you will demonstrate:
11. Strong knowledge of the Insurance Industry in order to support client and technical issues.
12. Excellent people and operational Management experience with a record of success of service delivery, people development and change management.
13. Excellent interpersonal skills and an approachable, confident outlook.
