- Nights £15.43 per hour | 36 hours per week 3 x shifts per week | 7pm to 7am | weekends on rota We are recruiting on behalf of Harrogate Neighbours, a not-for-profit organisation with a proud reputation for providing high-quality care and support to people across the local community.
They are now looking for a dedicated Shift Leader to join their Health Lodge team, working nights.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where youll support and supervise the care team to deliver safe, person-centred care for residents.
The Shift Leader role Lead and support the night care team to ensure residents safety and wellbeing.
Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and accurate record-keeping.
Administer and monitor medication in line with policies.
Provide hands-on personal care and respond to emergencies when required.
Liaise with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
Delegate tasks fairly and support audits to maintain excellent standards of care.
The Ideal Candidate Experience of working in elderly care within a residential care setting.
Confident in supervising and supporting staff.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Able to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
Flexible to work nights on a rota basis.
