Position Overview
Expro is recruiting for a Workshop/Maintenance Technician for the Tubular Running Services team based in Altens, Aberdeen. This onshore role involves maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of Casing Running Tools and accessories in a workshop setting, ensuring equipment is prepared safely and to company standards for operational use.
Main Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative, predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment following work plans and quality standards.
* Assist with building, rigging up, and rigging down equipment as required.
* Operate forklifts and overhead gantry cranes for equipment movement and loading/unloading.
* Conduct inspections and document compliance with company policies, ensuring documentation accuracy.
* Report incidents and non-conformances promptly.
* Update job packs and communicate with supervisors at the end of each work period.
* Coordinate with logistics and stores to ensure timely availability of components.
* Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and planning meetings.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient task completion.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic qualifications are desirable.
* Previous mechanical or oil industry experience is preferred.
