About The Role
CUSTOMER SERVICES - IT'S A PEOPLE THING
Are you someone who can start a conversation in an empty room? One of those people who always manages to get things done, no matter how much there is to do? If the answer is yes, there's a place in our Customer Service team for you.
It's not about what you know. It's who you are. As a Hire Controller, you'll be doing one of the most important jobs in our business: looking after our customers. This involves building relationships, understanding their needs, and helping them do it better.
In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering a top-notch service while using your product knowledge to maximize upselling opportunities. Your days will involve communicating with customers via phone, email, and website requests. You'll manage orders from enquiry to post-hire feedback, owning the customer journey and building relationships with regular clients. You'll need to think quickly and use your initiative to ensure we provide the best experience and continuously improve our service.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with a customer service background, ideally with industry experience, who want to see the impact of their work in a hands-on, operational, service-focused environment.
What We Offer
Joining a successful FTSE100 company, the UK's largest equipment rental provider, you'll receive an industry-leading rewards package, including generous holiday allowance (with buy/sell options), life assurance, retail discounts, recognition awards, and a comprehensive pension scheme.
