Test Equipment Commissioning Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Test Equipment Technician to join a rapidly growing aerospace business with new projects coming through. As the Test Systems Engineering function expands, we need someone to lead the commissioning of complex, bespoke Test Equipment that supports Qualification and Production Acceptance testing.


Duties

* Commission new Test Equipment in line with technical requirements
* Oversee and support mechanical and electrical assembly tasks
* Lead integration and formal verification testing, and analyse results
* Facilitate customer validation and correlation testing activities
* Annotate part and assembly drawings to reflect ‘as built’ condition
* Independently troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
* Support calibration procedure development and facility readiness


Qualifications

* HNC/HND or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
* Apprenticeship-trained background (advantageous)
* Experience with Test Systems or Test Equipment commissioning
* Familiarity with Systems Engineering principles, especially Verification and Validation
* Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
