The successful candidate will perform experiments with C. elegans, including RNAi screening, functional assays, advanced microscopy. The role will also involve some standard laboratory tasks (such as purchasing, lab organization) and molecular cloning. We are looking for a self-driven and well-organized individual with the ability to work both in a team and independently. Prior hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology techniques is essential. Additional experience in advanced microscopy (confocal, CLEM) would be highly desirable. Prior experience with C. elegans is also highly desirable although not essential. The ideal candidate must have a BSc or MSc in biological sciences.

We are committed to hiring the best people for the available jobs, which is why we are offering flexibility in the contract length and the working hours to suit the post-holder. This is a limited term appointment with funding for this post available for a period of 2 years in the first instance.
