We offer General English and summer junior group classes in the morning and afternoon, exam preparation classes such as IELTS and Cambridge and module classes focusing on Business English, Conversation and Employability. There’s a special atmosphere and vibe in Bayswater during the summer which both our students and staff contribute to. A typical day would include teaching either in the morning of afternoon (or both), planning classes, and joining in on the fun activities happening in and around the school if you fancy helping out with our social programme. We are looking for teachers for the first week of June and/or 3-4 weeks in July. *Please note that our positions are non-residential. Key Responsibilities Providing quality language teaching to adult and/or young learners at a variety of levels; Attending our paid weekly teachers’ meetings and fortnightly CPD sessions; Familiarising yourself with Bayswater materials, our online platform, and preparation of lessons; Ensuring weekly admin tasks are completed; Following the syllabus outlined while adding your own supplementary materials; Carrying out the school’s safeguarding policy and maintaining a friendly but professional manner at all times. Qualifications Essential A university degree A CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL or a PGCE (certain other qualifications will be accepted provided they meet specific BC requirements); Native level of English; Experience working with technology (smartboards, MS Office); A passion for teaching and inspiring students. Desirable Previous EFL school experience; Experience teaching/working with young learners; DELTA or Trinity Diploma.
