Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 based on experience.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and implement strategies to support continuous improvement.
* Prepare students for GCSE exams with targeted teaching, revision sessions, and exam preparation.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of departmental initiatives.
* Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
* Maintain effective classroom management in line with the school’s behaviour policies.
* Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school life.
* Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to support student success and well-being.

Candidate Profile
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
* Degree in Religious Education or a related subject.
* Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level.
* Passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students.
* Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
* Commitment to promoting student well-being and safeguarding.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
