Location and Role
This role will be based in our London office. The Credit Controller will handle Credit Control and Cash Application tasks, operating efficiently and in line with KPI’s and expectations.
Your Responsibilities
* Ensure timely collection and allocation of funds from Vista customers, including daily payment requests, balance analysis, and escalation of potential bad debts.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate efficient payments and resolve queries.
* Assess accounts to minimize client’s exposure in terms of debt versus deposit.
* Investigate, manage, and resolve disputes to collect funds efficiently.
* Attend client meetings to address finance questions or queries as needed.
* Ensure payments are received by due date using various methods.
* Negotiate payment and repayment plans with defaulting customers and initiate legal action if necessary.
* Allocate all received cash daily.
* Maintain compliance with credit policies, business processes, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
* Generate reports to aid in cash collection and identify issues.
* Suggest improvements to procedures and processes.
* Prepare daily and ad-hoc reports for management.
Perform other tasks as required by the Reporting Manager.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
* At least 2 years’ experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable.
* Experience with luxury brands or HNWI clients is highly beneficial.
* Strong self-motivation and leadership to guide team towards company goals.
* Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
* Intermediate Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience with SAP accounting software is advantageous.
