What is the main purpose of the job?
As the Finance Manager, you will play an essential role in maintaining the financial health of the organization. You will lead the development and execution of financial strategies while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of finance data. Your responsibilities will include managing accounting operations, analysing financial information, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. Additionally, you will ensure that all compliance requirements are met.
Primary duties consist of:
* Ensure monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting and activity is completed accurately and on time.
* Manage accounting, fiduciary, and statutory compliance reporting to ensure all requirements are fulfilled.
* Work closely with the Managing Director and Management Team to:
* Offer solid financial advice to ensure the business meets its financial objectives.
* Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly P&L statements, forecasts, and analyses to submit to leadership.
* Provide a detailed monthly financial management pack.
* Collaborate with department managers to recommend measures that achieve best-in-class operating ratios in their respective departments.
* Embedafinancialunderstandingatalllevelsacrossthebusiness.
* Manage risk and ensure that regulatory compliance is met, whilst also adhering to Omegro policies and procedures.
* Develop repeatable, efficient and effective processes, workflows, playbooks and best practices for the finance function.
* Manage key finance projects to ensure on-time, on-budget, on-spec completion for the business.
* Work collaboratively with other Omegro businesses and stakeholders to share best practices.
Who will I report to?
You will report to our Managing Director, forming part of the Leadership Team.
What do I need to be eligible to apply?
We are seeking an individual who excels with numbers and ensures financial processes and compliance are met. You should enjoy delving into details, asking questions, and understanding how our financials drive actions to achieve our business goals.

As well as this, you need to have:
* A degree in Accountancy or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of accounting/finance work experience, including completion of a relevant professional qualification (CA, CIMA, ACCA).
* Experience working for an organisation delivering business to business services.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting.
* Experience in relaying financial information to non-finance managers and employees.
* Proficiency with financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced skills in Excel for financial analysis.
* Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments.
* An organised, disciplined approach to work with excellent time management skills, diligence, and the ability to deal with multiple activities in parallel.
* The independent right to work in the UK
It's not a deal breaker, but we would really like it if you can bring:
* Experience of working in different jurisdictions, specifically the UK & US
* Experience of working in a multi-currency environment
* Previous experience within the software industry
