Early Years Teaching Assistant (Level 3 Required)
Crewe | Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity
Pay: £95–£105 per day (DOE)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

About the Role
Astro Education is recruiting for a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Crewe. This is a long-term, full-time position within an Early Years setting.
The school is looking for a nurturing and reliable individual who is passionate about supporting children at the early stages of their education and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging Early Years activities
* Assist with learning through play in line with the EYFS framework
* Provide 1:1 and small group support where required
* Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
* Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development
* Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential)
* Experience working within an Early Years setting
* A nurturing and patient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Paediatric First Aid training (desirable)
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
