The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Legal Counsel to join a forward-thinking legal department that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. You’ll work on a wide range of commercial agreements, regulatory matters, and internal legal projects—all while leveraging the latest in legal tech and AI.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including software licences and supplier agreements.
* Lead and support legal innovation projects that enhance efficiency and add strategic value.
* Develop and maintain internal legal templates, guidance, and playbooks.
* Advise on compliance and regulatory issues, including data protection and AML.
* Provide practical legal advice to stakeholders across the business.
* Monitor legal and technological developments and drive best practices.
About You
* Qualified solicitor (Scotland and/or England & Wales) with 1–4 years’ PQE.
* Strong interest in legal technology, AI, and process improvement.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.
* Experience in a professional services or regulated environment is a plus.
