Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay: £90–£115 per day

We’re working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Newcastle that prides itself on supporting every child to achieve their best. As an LSA, you’ll play a vital role in the classroom, giving pupils the encouragement and guidance they need to succeed.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
5. Supporting pupils in class, helping them access the curriculum
6. Providing 1:1 or small group support for students with additional needs
7. Working with teachers to adapt resources and strategies
8. Encouraging positive behaviour and celebrating progress

9. Experience supporting children or young people (in school, care, coaching, or community roles)
10. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships
11. A genuine commitment to helping every pupil reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
