Are you free for 2-weeks during January and February 2026? Are you looking for a fun challenge, teaching EFL to young students from overseas?


We have just the opportunity.


Based at the Brunel University in Uxbridge, west London, you will deliver tailored classroom based EFL lessons to our young, international students. You will also play an integral part in their holistic learning journey by leading excursions to exciting locations and taking part in fun evening activities.


These are residential contracts and we provide full-board accommodation; making this opportunity available no matter where in the UK you are based.


What do we do?


We are a British Council accredited, leading provider of school study holidays. Each year we welcome over 6,000 young learners from around the world. Our mission is to help students improve their English, while having a fun, unforgettable holiday. During their stay, our students experience engaging classroom lessons and a lively program of activities and excursions.


What’s the role?


In addition to our various summer study holidays programmes, these contracts are designed as a pop-up school, and run for 1-week each in January and February 2026.


It's a great opportunity to work with a range of ages (13-19 years), levels of ability and students from a multi-cultural environment. Following a successful contract, we have lots of opportunities to join us from June - August, supporting our summer holiday programmes.


Dates: 18th-24th January 2026 and 15th-21st February 2026 - ideally, you will be available for both contracts but this may be flexible

Location: Based at the Brunel University, Uxbridge - west London


Pay: Includes full-board accommodation

£554.73 per week + holiday entitlement
+ 1 year experience - £560.07 per week + holiday entitlement
3+ years’ experience - £570.74 per week + holiday entitlement


Hours: 42 hours per week - Teaching up to 21 hours plus teaching admin. As well as teaching, you will be an active part in leading pre-planned excursions and fun evening activities. Please see the Job Description for a full-list of duties.

Syllabus: We provide lesson materials and a pre-planned excursions and activities itinerary

Support: You will be supported by our experienced leadership team in the school


Further work: If successful, you will also be offered further work, teaching in one of our summer centres across the UK. This is typically from June - August, with more opportunities potentially available in our year-round EFL schools.


What you’ll need to be an EFL Teacher/Activity Leader:


Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Cert. TESOL or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English or MFL, or equivalent/higher *see Job Description
Great communication in English
Degree or equivalent (preferred)
Enjoy teaching and working with students in out-of-class activities and leading excursions
Flexibility, enthusiasm and professionalism
