Workshop Controller Needed for Commercial Main Dealer
1. Location: Coventry
2. Salary: £35,000 per annum
3. Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, flexible
Our client is a leading Commercial Main Dealer with a reputation for excellence. They are seeking a seasoned Workshop Controller with a background in commercial vehicles to oversee the efficient operation of a busy workshop.

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Workshop Controller:
8. Manage the day-to-day operations of a bustling Truck & Van workshop with approximately 10-15 technicians, both workshop-based and mobile.
9. Ensure all technicians adhere to manufacturer warranty processes.
10. Handle job card costing, using manufacturer standard repair time labour codes.
11. Maintain a high level of organisation and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
12. Oversee the technical aspects of both LCV (Light Commercial Vehicles) and LGV (Large Goods Vehicles) repairs.
What's required from you as a Workshop Controller?
13. Previous experience in a Workshop Controller role, ideally within an HGV Main Dealer.
14. Strong technical understanding of commercial vehicles, including LCV and LGV.
15. Familiarity with manufacturer warranty processes is essential.
16. Must be process-driven and able to multi-task effectively.
