Permanent Surgical Veterinary Surgeon - Liverpool, Merseyside

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon who has a bias in surgery to join a practice in Liverpool.
This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with 1 in 6 weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in the nearest animal hospital.
About the role
They are looking for a vet who either has a certificate in surgery or is currently studying towards a certificate. The right candidate will be confident in routine orthopaedic surgeries and enjoy both surgical and first opinion work. You will have a good level of small animal experience and be competent in sole charge work. You will work in this state-of-the-art hospital which has recently been refurbished and boasts facilities including in house laboratory, Ultrasound, CT, Endoscopy and digital x-ray.

About you
21. You will either have a certificate in surgery or be currently studying towards one
22. You will be confident in small animal surgery including TPLO/TTAs, fracture repairs and complex soft tissue
23. You will have a calming approach when dealing with a busy practice environment
24. You will be passionate and dedicated to providing excellent clinical care
25. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills
26. You will have career aspirations to continually develop your clinical skill set and knowledge
27. You will have areas of special interest that you would like to pursue

Package:
