The department has 1 resuscitation bed and 15 major treatment cubicles, 3 of which are classed as high dependency cubicles. We also have a dedicated mental health assessment room.

There are currently 30 staff in the paediatric department. We have a great team of Health Care Assistants, Junior and Senior Registered Nurses and Paediatric Nurse Practitioners.
