Description
Veneer Technologies is seeking a bilingual (Spanish), detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator with a strong focus on recruiting and payroll administration to join our Human Resources team. This role will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process including Work Release program, and ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing (non-exempt only), while also supporting general HR functions such as onboarding, compliance, and employee concerns.

Key Responsibilities
Recruiting (50%)
* Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, resume screening, interviews, and offers.
* Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
* Coordinate and attend career fairs, job expos, and community hiring events.
* Maintain and optimize applicant tracking system (ATS) and sourcing tools.
* Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
* Assist with employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.
Payroll (30%)
* Prepare and process biweekly or payroll for approx 150 non-exempt employees accurately and on time.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations.
* Maintain timekeeping, payroll records and reports for auditing and compliance purposes.
* Partner with Finance/Accounting to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
* Respond to employee payroll inquiries in both Spanish and English in a timely and professional manner.
General HR Support (20%)
* Assist with employee verbal translations between Spanish and English
* Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Maintain HRIS and employee files with up-to-date, accurate information.
* Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
* Assist with compliance reporting, audits, and documentation.
Requirements
* Proficiency in Spanish language required
* 2+ years of HR experience with a focus on recruiting and/or payroll.
* Working knowledge of Paylocity DESIRED!
* Strong knowledge of payroll regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ACA, etc.).
* Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Workday, etc.).
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
