Your new role As Design Manager, youll lead and coordinate the design process for a major highways improvement project in Nottingham. Youll manage design deliverables, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with technical standards and project timelines. This hybrid role offers flexibility : three days on:site and two days working from home. With design already underway and construction progressing, youll play a key role in delivering successful outcomes.
What youll need to succeed
Proven experience in highways design and construction projects. Strong engineering background : either as a Site Engineer/Graduate Civil Engineer or hands on experience in design coordination. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead design processes and ensure quality and compliance.
