Role: Senior AML Risk & Compliance Analyst – 12-Month FTCLocation: Sheffield | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)Salary: £35K–£45K + Benefits About the OpportunityThis is a fantastic chance to join a collaborative, forward-thinking Law firm as a Senior AML Risk & Compliance Analyst on a 12-month fixed term contract. Key Responsibilities
* Conduct client due diligence (CDD) on new and existing clients and matters.
* Assess risk related to jurisdictions, activities, and legal/regulatory context.
* Carry out screening for PEPs, sanctions, and reputational issues through company search tools.
* Own the full AML workflow process, escalating concerns where necessary.
* Maintain and update client information in internal finance systems.
* Provide support and guidance to staff and fee earners on compliance queries and processes.
About You
* Experience in an AML, compliance, or risk role—preferably in a professional services environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to manage competing priorities.
* Confident communicator with practical problem-solving skills.
* Working knowledge of AML frameworks and client onboarding procedures.
