The BoTree Wellness Club will be a social wellness private members club blending wellbeing, culture and meaningful connection within a luxury hotel setting. As we prepare for launch, we are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our pre-opening team and support the delivery of a vibrant, wellbeing-focused food experience within this unique environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring the consistent delivery of high‑quality, wellbeing‑focused dishes
* Leading kitchen service and maintaining excellent culinary standards
* Supporting menu development aligned with the club’s wellbeing philosophy
* Managing kitchen preparation, service flow and food quality
* Coaching, mentoring and developing junior kitchen team members
* Ensuring food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance standards are upheld
* Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and front‑of‑house team to deliver seamless member experiences
About You
You are a passionate and organised chef who thrives in premium restaurant, hotel or private members’ club environments and enjoys creating thoughtful dishes that contribute to a holistic wellbeing experience.
* 3–5 years experience in a high‑quality restaurant, hotel or members club kitchen
* Previous experience as Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef
* Strong leadership and team development skills
* A passion for high‑quality ingredients and thoughtful, balanced cuisine
* Interest in wellbeing, nutrition and mindful hospitality
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Experience in pre‑opening or new concept environments is an advantage
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with member events
