What you will be doing
* Support the site HO Customer Facing with the financial management of budgets and forecasting
* Participate in capital investment (CapEX) planning and projects according to Airbus principles
* Develop site strategies alongside the HO customer Facing for the site to include space management, sustainability, real estate, services etc
* Lead projects that support workplace improvements across the site as part of the company Better Workplace project, integrating an MFT approach across the Facilities Management team in the UK
* Face the customers and ensure accurate and timely reporting, supported by transparent performance metrics to continually improve the service
* Develop relationships across the plant at all levels to anticipate business needs
Requirements
* Open to undergraduates only. It is mandatory to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application

Successful candidate attributes
* Studying towards a degree in Facilities Management, Business, Operations Management, or equivalent
* Excellent IT skills (Google Suite)
* Ability to make decisions based on evidence
* Good stakeholder management skills, including excellent communication, customer focus and ability to deliver on commitments
* Willingness to explore and develop new processes and ideas; ability to challenge current ways of working
* Flexibility in a dynamic environment
* Desire to work in a technical team environment
* Team player with openness in a collaborative environment
* Adherence to Airbus standards
* Imagination and creativity to problem-solve with drive and enthusiasm
Security clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.

FMRE UK is at the heart of our operations, responsible for a comprehensive range of deliverables including Real Estate and General Zoning Management, Aerodrome Management, Energy and Supply, Major Building and Construction Projects, and essential services such as Maintenance, Catering, and Cleaning. You will be part of an integrated ONE FMRE team that spans Airbus Commercial and Airbus Defence & Space (ADS) across the UK, offering a chance to influence change within a diverse department.
