We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our South West Region, based at our Marcham Meadows development in Abingdon.
Our Assistant Site Managers have a diverse role, supporting the Site Manager and deputising when needed. You will supervise all employed and subcontract personnel on site. Effective communication skills and a flexible approach are essential, as you will liaise with construction professionals, customers, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities:
1. Supervise all employed and subcontract labour on site, working with the Site Manager.
2. Coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries to ensure an efficient build process, maintaining quality and schedule.
3. Schedule work to meet production targets and quality standards.
4. Ensure work methods are performed correctly.
5. Assist with pre-completion inspections with purchasers.
6. Support the sales team with show home preparations and maintenance.
7. Assist the Customer Care Team in completing maintenance works professionally.
8. Attend necessary meetings related to your duties.
Requirements:
* Experience on a new build construction site.
* SMSTS certification and First Aid qualifications.
* Knowledge of Site Health and Safety regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret designs and drawings.
* Commercial awareness.
* Excellent attention to detail and a desire to succeed.
