SCO is recruiting a Recruitment Executive to join our growing Recruitment team to support the recruitment of a number of roles within our business as it continues its expansion. Working for the Head of Recruitment you will gain valuable experience in the fast-moving and exciting sector of telecommunications.
This role would suit someone with well-developed communication skills who has some previous experience in recruitment or high-volume administration, or someone who has worked for a recruitment agency looking to develop their career in house in recruitment.
Main responsibilities include:
* Drafting and uploading job adverts to well known external job boards, tracking potential candidates using these online tools
* Reviewing applications and identifying suitable candidates to move to the next stage of the process
* Conducting competency based interviews with candidates
* Managing communication with candidates, responding to queries and providing updates on their application/pre-employment status
* Conducting screening interviews with candidates over the phone as well as first interviews face to face
* Working collaboratively with our HR department to process high volume of pre-employment documents, including references, right to work checks and DBS checks, ensuring accuracy and completeness
* Managing the administration of our World Class On Boarding programme to track and manage candidate journeys, ensuring a positive experience for applicants and data integrity.
* Supporting our small but very busy department with other requirements, such as operations admin, as necessary.

Essential Requirements
* GCSE Maths & English grade C/5 or above
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to management multiple tasks simultaneously
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, and meet tight deadlines
* Flexible and able to take initiative
* Competent user of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
* Excellent time keeping and personal presentation
Desirable
* Previous experience in recruitment, especially managing a high volume of vacancies and conducting competency based interviews
