We’re looking for a curious and driven Junior Optimisation & UX Specialist to join the established Optimisation & Experience team. You’ll play a vital role in applying Data-Led Design – our guiding methodology – to help improve the digital performance of a wide range of clients across sectors. This is a hands-on role focused primarily on optimisation – gathering data, generating insights, and formulating hypotheses for A/B tests. But this isn’t just about numbers: it’s about using evidence to design better experiences. You’ll also have the opportunity to support on larger UX and UI projects, so solid design instincts and a user-first mindset are essential. We need you to: · Apply Data-Led Design principles to identify usability issues, conversion barriers, and optimisation opportunities. · Use behavioural data and user insight tools to inform hypotheses and testing strategy. · Support the planning, documentation, and execution of A/B tests using platforms such as VWO or Optimizely. · Monitor live test performance, support result analysis, and contribute to recommendations. · Collaborate on UX design projects by contributing to research, wireframes, and UI design. · Work closely with the Optimisation & Experience team, and wider agency to align design strategies with broader client goals. You’ll be: · Data-driven in your thinking and decisions – always looking for the "why" behind user behaviour. · Creatively minded, with a keen eye for good design and interaction. · A fast learner, eager to develop your skills across optimisation, UX and UI. · Collaborative and clear in your communication, with the confidence to share ideas and findings. · Organised and adaptable – comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced agency environment. You’ll have: · 1–2 years’ experience in a digital, CRO, UX or design-related role (agency, in-house, freelance, or internship). · A portfolio or examples of work that demonstrate both analytical thinking and design skill. · A developing understanding of A/B testing and tools like VWO or Google Optimize. · Familiarity with tools like GA4, Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity to interpret user behaviour. · Experience using Figma or Adobe XD to create wireframes or UI designs. · A basic understanding of UX principles and the role of research in informing design. Nice to have: · Awareness of how websites are built – basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript understanding a bonus. · Experience using Google Tag Manager or other tagging tools. · Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles. · A background in psychology, marketing, design, or human-computer interaction.
