We’re hiring a Lead for Professional Services to take full ownership of the department — fixing delivery delays, driving project profitability, and generating new service revenue. This is a senior, remote-first role with full autonomy to lead, structure, and grow a commercial services function. You’ll need a proven background in project management, ideally within an enterprise sales or B2B services environment. Your focus will be on client delivery, not product implementation — ensuring scoped projects land on time and drive revenue.
Key expectations:
You must be able to cover your cost through delivery and service revenue
You’ll be responsible for £60k+ in new revenue annually through upsells, scoped work, and pre-sales
Projects must be structured, costed, delivered, and closed with margin
You’ll take a hands-on lead role — there’s no hand-holding
What you’ll do:
Own all PS delivery and be accountable for timelines, scope, and outcomes
Triage project drift and embed structure and accountability across all active engagements
Lead pre-sales scoping and costed proposals alongside Sales
Upsell and cross-sell PS services to existing enterprise clients
Report directly to the Managing Director with revenue performance and delivery metrics
Work cross-functionally to align services with client and commercial goals
What you’ll need:
Minimum 2 years’ management experience
Strong background in project or programme delivery in a tech or services setting
Commercial acumen — you’re confident scoping costed projects and delivering margin
Comfortable leading pre-sales conversations with enterprise accounts
Able to work independently and take ownership without micromanagement
What you’ll get:
~£60,000 base salary
~ Commission paid quarterly on upsell/cross-sell revenue
~ Fully remote work (within the UK)
~ Private healthcare, 25 days holiday + public holidays, life cover (4x salary)
~ Sick pay, compassionate leave, and development budget
~ The chance to lead a function, not inherit one
