We have an exciting vacancy for a new Finance Director to join Beamish Museum the Living Museum of the North Reporting to Rhiannon Hiles, our CEO and working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a critical part aiding the Museum at an exciting time in our development, embarking on a new strategy. You will help us deliver our purpose, sustain our long-term financial health, and grow our impact. Leading on all aspects of financial management, planning, and reporting, you will also oversee risk assurance, financial compliance, procurement and pensions. As a qualified accountant, y ou will have senior finance leadership experience, be a strategic thinker with strong stakeholder engagement skills, who always places people at the centre of how you work. You have strong collaborative and relationship-building skills. As a charity we need someone who can work closely with our Board of Trustees and Finance subcommittee and build strong relationships with our stakeholders. You will identify with our values and have a strong commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and sustainability.
