My client is a dynamic, fast-growing FMCG business based in Hemel Hempstead with an impressive track record of success and employee progression. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a high-caliber Finance Manager to join their finance team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director with a dotted line to the CFO, the Finance Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the financial reporting function of this ambitious organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the preparation and delivery of management accounts and reporting
* Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making
* Partner with department heads to optimize performance
* Contribute to strategic planning and forecasting
* Identify process improvements and drive efficiency
* Manage month-end close procedures
* Support year-end audit processes
The Candidate
This role represents an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to make their first move from Big 4 practice into industry, or for someone with existing post-qualification commercial experience seeking their next challenge.
Essential Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* Strong technical accounting knowledge
* Big 4 or equivalent practice background
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Commercial acumen and business partnering capability
