Overview
The Service Delivery Manager will focus on IT infrastructure and will lead delivery of infrastructure technology projects within a multi-year programme for TieTalent. The role ensures initiatives align with the organisation’s business goals and regulatory requirements, and oversees service delivery and operational readiness of new systems and technologies (networking, system integration, cloud infrastructure, cyber security, hardware, and more).
Reporting to the IT Director, the role blends responsibilities of a Service Delivery Manager, Project Manager, and Business Analyst, including developing and maintaining delivery plans, managing budgets, timelines, risks, and interdependencies, and acting as the primary liaison for third-party vendors to monitor KPIs and SLAs.
Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of IT infrastructure projects within a multi-year programme, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee service delivery and operational readiness of all new systems and technologies introduced during the programme (networking, system integration, cloud, cyber security, hardware, etc.).
* Develop and maintain delivery plans; manage budgets, timelines, risks, and interdependencies.
* Act as primary liaison for third-party vendors; monitor performance against defined KPIs and SLAs to ensure high-quality outcomes.
* Collaborate with IT Director and cross-functional teams in dynamic, multi-disciplinary environments.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a hybrid role combining technical delivery, service management, project management, and business analysis.
* Strong understanding of service delivery models and project management methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, ITIL, etc.).
* Strong experience supporting Azure and M365 technology transformations.
* Background in IT infrastructure and networking.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
