About The Role
We are currently recruiting for Machine Operators to work at our manufacturing facility in Scunthorpe. The role will be from Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30.
Main responsibilities:
* Follow detailed technical drawings to produce end products of the highest standard
* Effectively and safely control a variety of woodworking machinery including CNC drills, edge banders and glue machines, and a variety of hand tools
* Participate in training and mentoring of Trainee Machine Operators
* Carry out rigorous quality checks to ensure high-quality standards are always met, reporting any quality issues to management and the QC team
* Ability to operate machines, move and remove parts as required for cleaning processes
* Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace
About You
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
* Organisational skills
* Flexibility, commitment and punctuality
* Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment
* Good knowledge of manufactured products
* Awareness of H&S and COSHH
