Key Responsibilities
* Managing a diverse portfolio across our public sector clients in Ireland and the UK
* Lead on end-to-end audit delivery tasks for a portfolio of clients ensuring compliance with relevant audit standards and regulations and reporting to Partner
* Training and mentoring team members, developing their technical and professional skills
* Building and maintaining trusted client relationships
* Overseeing the financial management of your portfolio
* Contributing to the firm’s business development initiatives
* There will be an opportunity to broaden your portfolio into the NFP and Corporate audit sectors subject to agreement and performance
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* ACA, ACCA or CIPFA qualified
* Experience and proficiency in public sector audit
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop exceptional client relationships
* Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
* Leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in developing junior staff
* Commercial awareness, with the ability to contribute to business development
* A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
