We welcome applications from any professional from both within the education industry and other sectors, who feel that they are able to fulfil the job description and person specification effectively.
Your work will enable our pupils to access an appropriate curriculum, enrich and enhance their learning experiences and contribute to personal, social physical and emotional development under the broad direction of the SENDCO.
GCSE B /6 or higher in English or Maths would be desirable.
Our dynamic and over-subscribed academy is made up of both Aston University Sixth Form, which has over 450 learners following pathways in either academic STEM A levels, or Vocational technical courses in Engineering, Health, Science, or Business. This is complemented by the small Aston University Engineering Academy which has just 81 students per year from Years 9-11. Currently, both phases share a building on the edge of our Sponsor Aston University.
As well as our own outstanding facilities, our location next to our sponsor Aston University means that we can access resources, teaching, and learning spaces like no other school. (About Aston University Engineering Academy )
