You will be responsible for creating, managing and delivering SEO content strategies and reporting on their effectiveness. This includes working on everything from content audits and AI brand visibility audits to keyword research and content production (ideation, briefing, editing and optimising content for SEO and GEO). You will also be responsible for reviewing processes and making improvements to ensure we are working most efficiently.You will use AI across your workflow to produce work quickly and to a high standard. You must be confident in prompting AI to get quality outputs and know how to refine or edit these outputs to create content that aligns with search intent and consumer expectations.You will be comfortable working directly with clients in an account management capacity, specifically to provide regular content updates (via email or over video call) and to present strategies and reports.You'll be working across a mix of informational and transactional content types and have a strong understanding of content design, SEO tools and the role of content in the wider search landscape.We’re looking for someone with an ambitious, strategic and collaborative mindset. You’ll work closely with our Outreach, Digital PR and Tech teams, who may be based in a different time zone. You must be able to work full-time, with some overlap with UK hours.Full training will be provided on our processes and ways of working. However, we are looking for someone experienced who can add value from day one. ResponsibilitiesProduce and execute best-in-class SEO content strategies for new and existing clientsFeed into SEO reports to ensure visibility into performanceLiaise closely with clients to deliver regular updates and to present results and strategiesMonitor SEO results to spot any performance issues that need to be addressedPresent Content team updates at monthly company meetingsConduct audits into content performance, AI brand visibility and internal linking to identify opportunities for improvementUse tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, GA4, Screaming Frog and Google Search Console for strategy development, auditing and performance analysisUse content tools, such as Surfer, to ensure content is fully optimised for SEOCreate detailed content briefs (both for external writers and your own use)Write, edit and proof content for blogs, landing pages, guides, and occasionally press releasesOptimise existing content in line with UX, SEO, GEO and CRO principlesCollaborate with designers and developers on content layout and usabilityUse AI tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity to streamline content creationLiaise closely with Outreach and Digital PR teams to ensure content and outreach strategies are alignedLiaise closely with the Tech team to ensure any content-related tech tasks are conducted to a high standardUse Notion to keep client dashboards, content projects and tasks up-to-dateEnsure team wellbeing initiatives are implemented as a prioritySalary Salary dependent on experience. 40 hours per week, full-timeAbout YouEssential:At least 5 years of experience in SEO content, with an excellent understanding of on-page SEO best practicesExperience writing for B2B, SaaS or Tech audiencesProven experience with content strategy, keyword research, content creation, content auditing and optimisationExperience and confidence in liaising directly with clientsAbility to build strong relationships with colleagues and clientsFamiliar with tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and ChatGPTStrong writing, proofing, and editing skillsUnderstanding of UX and content design principlesUnderstanding of how to capture AI search potentialExperience working on both informational and transactional contentExcellent attention to detail Strong project management and organisational skillsAbility to manage projects independently, meet deadlines, and work collaborativelyExceptional communication skillsExperience in updating CMSsEducated to degree levelNative fluency in EnglishBased in the UK, South Africa, Europe or a time zone within 3 hours of the UKBonus if you have:Experience gathering expert contributors or intervieweesSkills in design, visual content creation or layoutA degree in English and/or a humanities-related subjectExperience working remotely full-time
