Job description
1. Planning and delivering your own lessons in line with the current curriculum.
2. Monitoring pupils' development in line with individual targets.
3. Managing and reporting behaviours or incidents in a professional manner.
4. Developing and adapting teaching methods to enhance each pupil's learning potential.
5. Marking and assessing classwork and homework.
6. Liaising with staff members and parents respectfully and professionally.
Requirements:
* Experience teaching upper or lower KS2 pupils.
* Effective communication skills with staff and parents.
* Liaising professionally and appropriately with the safeguarding team.
* Genuine passion for motivating and developing pupils' learning.
* Availability to work full-time during term time.
* Ability to mark pupils' work and set relevant targets.
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years.
* Be a qualified teacher.
