Are you a recent psychology graduate passionate about supporting young people? This is an excellent opportunity to take your first step into the education sector and make a meaningful impact from day one.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in helping students engage with learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to support student development
* Apply your psychology knowledge to support emotional regulation and behaviour
* Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

* A psychology graduate (or related field) eager to apply their knowledge in a practical setting
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
* A strong interest in SEND, mental health, and child development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
