About the role
Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply.
In addition to the pay stated, you will receive a shift premium for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00. This will be paid at the pay range minimum rate for your role.
At a glance:
* Hours of Work: Full Time 37.5 hours
* Contract type: Permanent
* Pay rate: £12.40
* Working hours: Earliest start at 07:00, latest finish at 23:30 (occasional requirement of 01:00 finish for Events). Shifts vary weekly, rotas produced two weeks in advance.
* Weekends: 1 weekend off in 4
About the role:
To work as part of the hotel team to deliver a first-rate guest experience through market-leading customer service, contributing to the efficient and profitable running of the hotel to meet business and personal objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide outstanding customer service as a brand ambassador.
* Resolve guest queries and complaints promptly.
* Interact with guests, sharing product knowledge on drinks and food.
* Food service: serve guest orders, clear tables, and maintain hygiene standards.
* Prepare rooms for next service, including cleaning and resetting.
* Knowledge of wines and drinks; training provided.
* Assist with housekeeping duties.
* Handle laundry and occasional kitchen portering tasks.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (training provided).
Essential skills:
* Self-motivated and industrious
* Proficient in IT systems and software
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience in hospitality industry
Desirable skills:
* Level 2 Food Safety
* Additional hospitality experience
