Job Description
If you're good with your hands, solid with mechanical/electrical systems, and prefer the open road to sitting at a desk all day, keep reading. This is a hands-on field service role looking after high-end tool presetting and inspection kit. You'll install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot machines at some of the best manufacturing facilities across the UK.
What you'll do: Install, service, calibrate, and repair complex inspection systems Support customers on breakdowns and usage issues Manage your own site visits and travel schedule Keep service records and calibration logs spot-on Work closely with customers and internal teams to solve problems Suggest improvements and raise red flags when needed Stay compliant with safety and company procedures What you'll need: Solid background in mechanical and/or electrical/electronic engineering Previous experience in field service or technical support Confidencein diagnosing faults and thinking on your feet Full UK driving licence and happy to travel Familiarity with digital service systems (CRM, reporting tools) Organised, self-motivated and professional About the Company: Youll be joining a well-known supplier of high-precision metrology and tool inspection systems used across aerospace, automotive, energy and more.
