Job Summary
.NET Developer (Mid‑Level) – Join an expanding development team in East Croydon, working in an Agile (Kanban) environment to deliver customer‑focused solutions across the full technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high‑quality, scalable software solutions.
- Take ownership of features from design through to deployment and support.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and shape requirements.
- Ensure performance, security and reliability of applications.
- Conduct code reviews and promote best practices across the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
- Act as the voice of the customer and support delivery of customer‑first solutions across our platforms.
- Use AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks.
- Apply critical thinking to AI‑generated outputs and balance AI‑driven efficiency with human insight.
Technical Responsibilities
- Design and build robust .NET / C# applications and APIs.
- Work across the full stack, including APIs, databases, mobile and cloud.
- Build and manage cloud‑based solutions using Azure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions.
- Maintain clear technical documentation (architecture, APIs).
- Optimize application performance, scalability and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with minimal disruption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience as a .NET Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in the .NET stack (C#, APIs, backend development).
- Experience with at least one of the following (ideally both):
- Cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Mobile development (Xamarin, .NET MAUI, Flutter).
- Experience across full‑stack development (APIs, databases, and/or mobile/front‑end).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with stakeholders.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
- Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team with end‑to‑end ownership.
- Experience with Agile or Kanban methodologies.
