We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher for a Primary School in Standish (WN6) to work on a long-term basis starting September!

The KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role is to start Tue 02/09/25 and will continue to Fri 19/12/25. This KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday 08:30am- 16:00pm. The role of a KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher is to work across all year groups covering PPA as and when required to do so. You will be given a time-table to follow each week and you will work closely with the class Teachers and Support Staff whilst undertaking PPA.

Your role & responsibilities:

1. Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
2. Guiding children through the curriculum and marking working
3. Managing behaviour
4. Upholding school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
5. Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

6. You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
7. Hold QTS
8. Knowledge of the national curriculum
9. Be passionate and understanding
10. Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
11. Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
12. Good communication skills
